The International Air Transport Association (IATA) certified Aerosan’s Bogota operations as a Competency Based Training and Assessment Center (CBTA), recognizing its compliance with the provisions for training its employees in the transport of dangerous goods.

Aerosan’s regional head of Training and Education, Jenny Camacho, commented that “after two years of work to align our training to the standards required by authorities, we received this dangerous goods certification, which puts us at the forefront of the airport services sector.”

This recognition makes the company the first airport service provider to be certified and the second training center in the country. “We celebrate this certification as a step forward to continue improving, to have more prepared professionals and to provide the best service to our clients,” added Camacho.
