Aerosan shared its experience in sustainability at event organized by KLM Airfrance Martinair

Aerosan’s commercial team, headed by Sebastián Devia, deputy commercial manager, together with Andrés Seguel, HSE advisor, traveled to eastern Santiago to speak at My Cargo, a commercial-operational event attended by customers and other industry players, about the various operational transformations that Aerosan has made to generate a positive impact on sustainability. 

These include quantifying greenhouse gas emissions, acquiring a fleet of electric cranes and implementing a closed circuit for waste removal.

“We are very pleased to be part of this cultural change developed in conjunction with the KLM Airfrance group. Today we can show our clients that our operations and all our processes are generating value, value that goes hand in hand with sustainability,” said Sebastián Devia. 

The activity culminated this Friday with a visit to the Center for Primary Environmental Care (Centro de Atención Primaria Ambiental or Capa) in the Pudahuel district, to see how pallets and wood strips from our operations with KLM Airfrance are recycled and reused.
